Forward Deployed Engineer

Work directly with customers to turn messy business problems into reports, dashboards and apps they rely on every day.

About the role

Forward Deployed Engineers sit between our customers and our product. You will learn how a customer’s business actually runs, figure out what they really need, build it on Actionboard, and stay with them until it works in their day-to-day.

What you’ll do

• Talk to customers to understand the problem behind each request
• Model their data and build reports, dashboards and internal apps on Actionboard
• Debug data issues end to end — from the source system to the number on the screen
• Research tools, APIs and approaches you haven’t used before, and share what you learn
• Bring what you see in the field back to our product team

Who we’re looking for

• 0–1 year of experience — freshers are welcome
• Comfortable in at least one programming language; SQL is a plus
• You break problems down and ask good questions before jumping in
• You learn on your own and enjoy figuring out unfamiliar things
• You can explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical people
